The Nexus 3000 is a part of Evolution Aqua's established filter system incorporating the industry proven Kaldnes Moving Bed coupled with the now recognized 'Answer' mechanical filter and the new 'fines polisher with air backwash'.  The Answer, launched 4 years ago, is a mechanical self cleaning micron-screen which is extremely low maintenance.

Combined, they provide outstanding water clarity and quality.  The Nexus 3000 system is designed for gravity fed configuration only.

The Nexus 3000 system is a complete unit and includes the Nexus body, Answer self-cleaning micron screen, central orifice plate, fines polisher with air backwash, air diverter valve, unionized ball valves to waste, and Kaldnes media for the bio-reactor (fluidized Kaldnes). The Nexus 3000 is ideal for ponds up to 8900 gallons and should be used in a pond system with a maximum flow rate of 3430 gph.

The Eazy features Evolution Aqua's new solids removal system utilising static Kaldnes. The Kaldnes is retained in a 316 stainless steel enclosure and has been proven to trap incredibly small waste particles, without disrupting flow through the system. 

Cleaning the Kaldnes is a simple matter of turning on the air tap to the settlement area, thus agitating the static Kaldnes.  Waste is then dislodged from the media, and purged through the central vortex drain.
