What do you do when you think you have designed the most perfect filter in the pond industry designed to have little restriction? You think harder and come up with an LH version. LH=Lower Head. Why is the lowest head or least restrictive filter desirable? It allows you to move more water with less electricity. This allows you to use a smaller pump to get the job done. With electrical rates on the rise through out the world it is only smart to think in this direction. The use of a smaller pump can save you hundreds of dollars a year.
The AquaBead LH has all the features of the AquaBead filter with the extra added benefits of the LH series.
With years of thought and testing we are proud to release the filter that already has people talking. As one dealer put it "Do you realize what you have done? You have have just made the top mount multiport valve filters obsolete."
Since most of the restriction from a pressurized filter comes from the multiport valve we reengineered things to allow us to only use the multiport valve when you are going to backwash. You bypass the multiport when you are in the regular filtration mode.
Water only goes through the multiport valve when backwashing. Simply move 2 push-pull type valves and the water flows through the multiport valve to allow for backwashing, rinse, etc. Then move the push-pull valves back to their original position and water flows through the filter as normal but unrestricted. Water enters the lower port and exits the upper port going back to the pond.
Why is all of this important? It allows you to run a smaller more energy efficient pump to do the same job. This is good for the environment and your pocket book.
The AquaBead LH Filter is available in a wide variety of sizes for every pond. If you are looking for a filter that has the lowest restriction of any filter made, this is it. You can use the most energy efficient pump on this filter and receive maximum flows with very little head pressure. This saves you at the electric meter and in the wallet. Truly an EcoFriendly filter for our modern day ponds.

The Medusa solves the age old problem of how to filter a large pond while only using one filter.
The problem: Pond is 20 to 25 thousand gallons. You want to turn it over about every 2 hours. A 1/4 hp pump will put out about 5000 gallons an hour. This means you need two filter systems to accomplish this and stay with energy efficient pumps or a giant pool pump moving 10,000 gallons an hour and costing you an arm and a leg in energy costs.
The Solution: Medusa
With this filter you can run two 1/4 hp or two 1/3 hp pumps and only pull about 5 amps total with the 1/4 hp pumps or 7.6 amps total with the two 1/3 hp pumps.
The Medusa is designed in such a way that all valves and internals of the filter are double that of a regular filter. At no time does each pumps water pathway get smaller than a 2" opening. Every thing is double on this filter so that we maximize the flow potential of each pump. Everything is double on this filter except the price, you'll spend less money on 1 Medusa than installing 2 individual filters.
The Medusa is designed with the same integrity as the AquaBead and AlphaONE filters. Designed to maximize the flow and efficiency of today's modern koi pond pumps. | | Item # | Description | Price | Add to Cart |
