Newly constructed ponds may develop cloudy water during the first few weeks, especially in warm, sunny conditions. Established ponds can also experience cloudy water any time. Cloudy, discolored water may form while changing the filter, working with aquatic plants or when making a water change. In all these instances, Accu-Clear quickly restores pond water to a crystal clear condition.

EcoFix helps create a healthy ecosystem for pond fish, makes pond water clean and clear, breaks down dead algae and increases oxygen levels in pond water. Murky, cloudy water keeps you from enjoying your pond and fish as much as you would like. In addition, dissolved organics and sludge build up and reduce the oxygen concentration in the water, creating a breeding ground for disease-causing, pathogenic bacteria.

EcoFix contains five strains of live bacteria that digest sludge and reduce dissolved organics, making pond water clean and clear. The bacteria, which remain in a dormant state until added to the pond, become active and begin consuming the organic substances responsible for cloudy, hazy pond water.

EcoFix will never smell like "rotten eggs" which is caused by the build-up of toxic hydrogen sulfide. EcoFix needs no refrigeration and should be stored at room temperature. Accidental freezing of the product will not reduce its performance in the pond. In cold water (below 40°F) the activity of EcoFix, as with all bacterial products, will be reduced.

Simply-Clear is a stable fast-acting bacteria that feeds on small size organic materials that often cause cloudy water conditions. As the bacteria rapidly grow they shed their outer coating which acts as natural flocculent clumping the fine particles. As the fine particles clump together they either drop to the bottom of the pond or are removed by the pond filter.

Once the particles are clumped together the bacteria have a concentrated food source eliminating it from the water. The fast-acting bacteria are extremely efficient at breaking down dissolved proteins that are associated with poor water clarity. Simply-Clear bacteria will quickly clear pond water and digest and eliminate the floating particles.
