Our Matala Air Discs are available in two sizes. 9 inch diameter and 12 inch diameter. They are designed for the wastewater treatment industry to very high standards. The air pore size in the rubber membrane is designed to give a medium size bubble which will not put any significant back pressure on the system. In fact this special air disc only adds less than 6 inches of water depth back pressure. The 3/4" male thread makes it easy to attach to your feed line.

The 9 inch disc is capable of handling air flows of 25 lpm to 100 lpm.

The 12 inch disc is capable of handling air flows up to 180 lpm.

Both discs are very low maintenance and in most cases NO maintenance. Simply wash the disc with clean water and bleach if it ever needs cleaning. We have some of these air discs in systems now for over 6 years with out trouble or maintenance.

This is the best diffuser choice for all Hakko air pumps.  You may want to buy the air base to help keep the air disc positioned on the bottom of pond.

These Air Tube Diffusers are manufactured in the USA. They are designed to be a drop in system. The rubber membrane is wrapped around a hollow PVC tube. The air slots in our tubes are a little larger than other brands at 2mm long each. You get a medium size bubble which does not clog and puts very little back pressure on your system.  The maximum flow is 7 cfm and 14 cfm respectively, for short duration. These tubes are commonly used in waste water treatment systems. Both size tubes only add an additional 12 inches of water pressure to your overall system pressure. This gives you a very low maintenance and effective aeration system.

You must add small stones to the inner tube to increase the weight so it stays put on the bottom of your pond or lake. A plug is included to keep the stones in.

The inlet connector is a 3/4" male pipe thread. We offer a 3/4"fpt x 5/8" barb connector so you can connect to our 5/8" sinking air hose.

To clean the rubber membrane, simply wipe with a rag and clean water occasionally.

USE A SINGLE 12 INCH DIFFUSER FOR HAKKO 40 OR 60 AIR PUMPS. Rated flow for the 12 inch tube is 1 cfm to 4 cfm.

USE A SINGLE 24 INCH DIFFUSER FOR THE HAKKO 80 TO HAKKO 120 AIR PUMPS. The rated flow for the 24 inch tube is 2 cfm to 8 cfm.

MULTIPLE 12 INCH DIFFUSERS CAN BE MANIFOLDED TOGETHER FOR THE HAKKO 80 TO 120.

EasyPro offers a membrane air diffuser assembly that features a hollow base that can be filled with sand or gravel.  This eliminates the need for bricks and straps to get the diffuser to sink!

Available in both a single head or dual head assemblies. 

- Single head handles airflow from 1-3 CFM,

- Double head handles airflow from 2-6 CFM.  A ¾" female threaded outlet is located in the base of each diffuser. 

1/2" barbed adapter is included (fits weighted tubing)

 These EPDM rubber air diffusers are incredibly strong and are ideal for pond aeration, circulation and destratisfying applications. Unlike cheap air stones, these diffusers are easy to clean. EPDM membrane cleans much better and easier than the porous air stones. In testing; these air diffusers produce a slightly larger air bubble than air stones, which translates into less oxygen transfer into the water. So for fish holding tanks, raceways, fish productions ponds, etc. we recommend using alumina air stones. These diffusers are an excellent choice for pond and water garden aeration since they actually produce more circulation and water movement. Barbed inlets have multiple size barbs. Simply cut to fit the size tubing you are using.

Matala Lake Aeration Diffuser Bases are designed to keep the air discs up off the mud bottom of a lake.

The MDB24 comes complete with four 9" air discs supported above a double base. Includes multi-barb for hose connection. Also available with 12" air discs for large air compressors.

The double base is heavy duty rugged plastic with soft edges. Fill the base with small gravel and sand and purge of all air bubbles. The base comes with a friendly multi-barb that will allow connection to various sizes of air hose including 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" and 1".
